theorem.
STATEMENT OF THALES THEOREM:
If a line is drawn parallel to one side of the triangle to intersect the other
two sides in distinct points, then other two sides are divided in same ratio.
OBJECTIVES OF THE EXPERIMENT:
(1)Two recall the concept of parallel lines.
(2)Two recall Play Fair’s Axiom.
(3)To enjoy the concept learnt by hands on
experiment to
reinforce
in mind forever.
(4)To apply the theorem to the daily life situations
whenever
they
come across.
PROCEDURE
: 1. The idea of the similar squares will be
Demonstrated
using circuit model device
Developed by
the own idea of the pupil.
2. The concept of
squares will be demonstrated
by the pupil using circuit model device
developed by the
own idea of the pupil.
3. The B.P.T
theorem/ Thales theorem will be
demonstrated and
the proof will be verified
by the working
model.
CONCLUSION: As it is the case of an hands on
experiment for
the student, the
concept learnt will be remained
in the mind
permanently and he will develop
the passion of check and verify the content
and
then believe in the
principle which will help
him to eradicate
the blinds belief.

INNOVATIVE PRACTICE TO BE USED
Divide the pupils into sub groups consist of four
members provide the questionnaire to them along with model/chart/table etc so
that to use the models to get sequence (series) found in the questionnaire, let
them discuss and solve the problems pertaining to to concept of an AP. Pupils
will be directed to solve the problem by using different method learnt in the
above topic and The group which has come
with correct answer and enable to demonstrate the answer of given sequence both experimentally and as well as induction
hypotheses is to be awarded the ranks.
LABORATORY ACTIVITY TO BE CONDUCTED
Each four members group of pupils were instructed to
discuss the problem assigned and perform the activity to get more enthusiasm in
teaching learning process for ever.
·
To
identify the common difference of and ascertain sequence whether it forms an AP
or not? .
·
Reading
the data by the bar diagramme of the given problem and hence find the sequence.
·
To
find the sum of an AP using the histogram.
·
Verify
the sum of an AP by drawing an histogram for the given problem.
PROJECT TO BE INITIATED
Each group of pupils was instructed to generate
problems of arithmetic progression and introduce the value based questions on
the concept of AP.
Or
Construction of working models to find the difference
of an AP, and submit the same to mathematics laboratory.
Or
Each group of pupils will directed to prepare power
point presentation on the topic Arithmetic progression
Or
The group will be directed to prepare quiz questioner
using power point presentation.
